Matthew Hotchen's reality » 2022-07-30 intergalactic

We soon discovered that the theoretical possibility of intelligent life within the Milky Way, outside of Earth, was improbably low, and same for Andromeda. Earth is an ideal spot, in an ideal spot, in an ideal spot.

After taking control over our solar system, it didn't take long to expand. We sent the ingredients and machinery to terraform nearby systems to start new generations.

The process continued, terraforming new systems throughout our galaxy.

It was taking many generations to communicate with each other, soon eons. We grew separated, but always together knowing we started on Earth.

Our harmony with the universe, our systems, our galaxy, and ourselves, only grew over time. Life rapidly reached close to perfect.

We made contact with life from other galaxies. It followed the same process, and had reached the same conclusions. Going intergalactic was an obvious decision. Life had already made this leap. But all life that had done so was a true reflection of ourselves.

The quantity of life going through this process is unfathomable. The size of the universe cannot be calculated. But it will eventually reach nothingness. We still don't know how or why it came to exist, all we can do is express gratitude that it did.
